Bio-Compatibility Hair Analysis

The Bio-Compatibility System is the result of over 30 years of research and development by qualified Naturopaths in Australia. This is a Naturopathic Wellness programme which is used in more than 20 countries. The technique is based on the way in which the foods and products benefit the individual person.  Each person is unique so it obviously follows that when it comes to foods and household products that ‘one size does not fit all’. Each individual has his/her own nutritional and energy requirements. Have you noticed that some foods give you good energy while others seem to drag you down and seem to aggravate existing symptoms? Bio-Compatibility Hair Analysis is about finding local foods and household products that suit the individual. What the hair analysis test covers The standard test covers a list of 500 items — including all food groups, bathroom, laundry, Gluten-free and kitchen products. The focus is on what you CAN eat and use rather than what you can’t. $325

Liver Detoxification Profile

The process of detoxification is one of the chief roles of the liver. It works to convert lipid-soluble xenobiotics into water soluble substances that can be excreted from the body. It does this via a two-step process designated phase I and phase II. When the function of the liver is suboptimal, toxins can build-up and poison the body. Conditions that may be associated with an imbalance in liver function include:
  • Autism
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Food intolerances
  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Menopausal symptoms
  • Digestive complaints
  • Muscle pain
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Multiple chemical sensitivities
  • Parkinson’s disease

Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis (CDSA)

The Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis (CDSA) is an advanced non-invasive diagnostic tool for assessing gastrointestinal function.  The analysis investigates digestion, metabolism, pancreatic function, the balance of beneficial bacteria and the presence of pathological bacteria, yeast and parasites. Symptoms and conditions associated with abnormal gastrointestinal function:
  • Abdominal pain
  • Fatigue
  • Autism
  • Bad breath
  • Headaches
  • Bloating
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Brain fog
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Chemical sensitivities
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Dermatological conditions
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Depression
  • Ulcers
  • Diarrhoea
  • Weight loss

Neurotransmitter Profile

Low or high levels of neurotransmitters (brain chemicals) are observed in various mental health disorders, such as depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Parkinson’s disease and panic attacks. Tests for:
  • Serotonin
  • Dopamine
  • Noradrenaline and Adrenaline
  • GABA
  • Glutamate

Stress & Female Hormone Profile

Salivary cortisol testing is the most accurate and powerful non-invasive salivary hormone test that evaluates bioactive levels of the body’s important stress hormones, cortisol and DHEA. This hormone test (stress test) serves as a critical tool for uncovering biochemical imbalances underlying anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, obesity, dysglycemia, and a host of other clinical conditions that may affect our day to day lives. The Female Hormone Profile provides valuable information on an individual’s hormonal status and the potential impact this may have on physical and emotional health. Hormone-related symptoms can occur from the age of when a menstrual cycle commences. Generally, hormonal issues is usually not a clear-cut case of one hormone level being abnormal, or even one hormone system. In fact, because of the role that hormones play as chemical messengers to wake up the genome in specific target tissues throughout the body, it makes sense that all hormone systems work in concert with each other to maintain a state of balance. Common Conditions:
  • Hot flushes
  • Weight gain
  • Night sweats
  • Depression
  • Irregular menstruation
  • Mood changes
  • Brain fog
  • Vaginal dryness
  • Bone loss
  • Dry skin
  • Fatigue
  • Insomnia
  • Disturbed sleep patterns
  • Low libido
  • Infertility
  • Miscarriage
  • PMS
  • Symptoms of menopause
  • PCOS

Body Composition

The Body Composition scales measures your body composition, the measurement of body fat in relation to lean body mass.  The test works by sending an extremely weak and harmless electric current through your body. Your body’s total weight consists of various “masses”, like fat, muscles, bones and water.  Each of these conducts electricity in different ways.  By measuring the electric resistance of some of these masses in your body, called “Bioelectrical Impedance” and estimating other masses, the test is able to accurately measure what percentage of your total body weight is made up from each. Research has shown that body composition is directly related to health.  A normal balance of body fat is associated with good health and longevity.  Excess fat in relation to lean body mass and altered body composition, can greatly increase your risks for cardiovascular disease diabetes and more.  This allows for early detection of an improper balance in your body composition, which fosters earlier intervention and prevention.  Some of what the Body Composition scales measures:
  • Body Water %
  • Body Fat %
  • Muscle Mass %
  • Metabolic Age
  • Bone Mass
